Representatives from the Wal-Mart Distribution Supply Chain in Henderson, recently donated $5,000 to Saint Augustine's College's Recovery and Restoration Fund. The fund is designed to help the school restore the campus to its historic beauty after a tornado tore through Raleigh on April 16, leaving devastating damage in its wake.

Saint Augustine’s College awarded bachelor’s degrees to 249 seniors during its 144th Commencement ceremony Sunday, May 1. The commencement was held on campus two weeks after a tornado blew through Raleigh, leaving behind devastating damage to the College’s historic grounds.

Saint Augustine's College President Dianne Boardley Suber held a town hall meeting with students today to address concerns about campus conditions in the wake of the tornado that devastated parts of North Carolina Saturday, April 16. Saint Augustine's College is ranked in two baseball polls again this
week. The Falcons are first in the Black College Baseball poll and
eighth in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA)
Atlantic Region poll. They earned the rankings with a 32-15 overall
record and 22-4 CIAA mark, which tops the league.

The Falcons recently won the CIAA's highest grade point average award
in football. It comes on the heels of a record 9-2 season in 2010 which
includes a Pioneer Bowl crown for the Falcons, who competed in a
postseason bowl for the first time in recent memory. The Falcons
finished second in the league's Southern Division with a 6-1 mark.

renovated properties as part of a $2.1 million Neighborhood
Stabilization Program (NSP) grant on Monday, January 31st at 11a.m.

FAFSA Day is Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 9 am until 12 pm.
Financial aid professionals will be available to assist high school
seniors with completing the 2011-2012 FAFSA form. We will also assist
others if assistance is needed. We will provide the form and also
computer for electronic filing. Students and parents will need to bring
